In Hobart, the busiest days for florists are Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and the weeks before prom and Christmas, when prices rise and delivery windows fill up, so order several days ahead. For a wedding, book a consultation six to twelve months out and bring photos and a budget; for sympathy flowers, the shop can deliver straight to the funeral home if you give the service time. I have used Kellen's Florist for over 30+ years way back from when I was going to dances. Unfortunately, this time I actually had two employees arguing with me over what I ordered. I went in calm just wanting some changes that could be closer to what I asked for and couldn't believe the extreme attitude and unprofessionalism I was given. You aren't always going to hit a home run, so at least have the customer service skills down and not make your paying customers feel bad for wanting what they paid for. Be better Kellen's, or go to some professional development classes to remember what customer service looks like.

I ordered flowers for my daughters graduation, the flowers were wrapped in gift wrapping paper. I wasn't asked about the design and was disappointed when it was vintage. My child is 17 not 70. I was sent home with the clear bag because they didn't have any other options. 3 stars because the flowers were nice. Also if allergic to cats, there's one roaming around the shop. Really nice cat though.

Ron and his team are experts in what they do!! The quality is impeccable and service is fast and reasonably priced!! I have preserved many times and will only order from here. Flowers bloomed so big and were even more pretty days later!!

My Daughters Live in New Zealand and sent me a basket of flowers and some candy. Kellens went beyond what they expected and wrapped the candy and put it in a bag. The arrangement was beautiful ! I was not only surprised on my Birthday but thought the flower arrangement was the most beautiful I've ever seen. I love sending flowers so I've seen my share and with that knowledge I will recommend this Florist 100%
